Just a little update from me….

As usual it’s been busy at the studio and we are moving forward with lots of exciting plans which, for at the moment, need to stay hush hush!

We recently shot some tops for CCKT and Jones and I fell in love with a couple of pieces. I am looking  forward to seeing the rest of their collection next week when we shoot again. I just might have to include one in my next shopping binge!

I am also kept busy with organising some editorials. The next one being on Friday when Luke, Jones and I are shooting a submission for Idol magazine. We are shooting out of the studio this time so am really looking forward to it.

I am also planning a test shoot at Camber Sands which will be good as long at the weather stays sunny for it!

Well well, what a busy past month! New clients, studio development (DIY Duke) and lots of retouching. Some recent editorial work came my way for DM London which I really enjoyed doing, bringing some creative flare to the table. As the images have yet to go viral, I can’t even give you a sneak peek of the work we did for it. When it does I’ll post some up

We have also been doing some work with New Era which I am also super stoked about and may even have some fancy shot of those to reveal soon too.

Lastly I thought I’d share another image interest I have, AKA Tilt Shift. With the summer coming up this photography style looks amazing for picture postcards and its hard to believe that all what you see is real. Check out the time lapse video in HD. Cool stuff.

It’s been a while, as Em says hope you have all had a super special long Easter weekend and we have another one coming up in a few days!! Royal wedding fever really is hitting London town, hope you all have lovely plans for the big day!!

So much has been going on in the studios over the past month its hard to keep up but we have been busy bees doing lots of shoots and welcoming lots of fabulous new clients on board! The guys took a trip over to Firetrap HQ a few weeks ago to shoot some menswear and womanswear bodymodels which from what I hear was great fun, we have been shooting in the studio for brands CCKT, Baby Ceylon, Dune, Bertie, A Suit that Fits, One Piece, Ruby Rocks and many more!

I have also been out and about to a couple of press days recently. Peacocks was very impressive, loved the location of Haymarket Hotel, amazing underground swimming pool to show off their new 2011 Spring/Summer Collection in collaboration with Daisy Lowe:

As well as all the goings on at work, in the next few months I am getting married (ahhhhhhhhh), having a hen doo which annoyingly I know nothing about but can’t wait as I am sure the girlies have planned something fun and I am going to be turning 30 in May. Yikes!!!!!! Was thinking about gracing Lounge Lover in Shoreditch to mark the occassion, went to take a look with a friend last night, decor is amazing, check it out ….

Hi Everyone

How was your Easter break everyone? We have all come back refreshed and raring to go for the 3 days until the next bank holiday…. wow we are being spoilt!!

Have you all got your bunting and flags ready for the upcoming royal wedding? we may have a special photo of our favourite little man Mr Biggy T coming up for you all before then…. he is so excited about the wedding!

All has been super busy here at the studio with us even working on Good Friday! There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to shoot!

We have been having a few castings here for the upcoming season and the lovely Kika and Ellie from Models 1 popped by on a lovely sunny day to say hi!

We have worked with Ellie before on numerous times for Miss Selfridge and is always lively and bubbly and up for a laugh so hopefully we get to work with her this season on some things.

Also this week we got an ipad!!! We have loaded our portfolios onto it and are ready to wow everyone with our lightweight high tech portfolio. Truly geeking out over it! Anyone recommend any good apps for it? We have been reading up about the rumours for the iphone 5 myself and Simon are chomping at the bit to get the new one….hurry and release it apple!!! WE ARE READY!!!

Jones!

Last week I got creative with some watch editorials for DM London so keep an eye out for those. One will be in The Sunday Times next Sunday I think! Check out these videos of Biggy playing with some of the props.

Emma (Jones) and I relived our childhood and played with the new Kate Middleton barbie doll, making a stop frame animation video for the launch at Hamleys! I loved doing this as it reminded me of my uni days and making videos. I definitely want to do more of these and am actually in the process of planning another video project with Luke and Emma which I can’t tell you about at the moment but its going to be great and a lot of fun.

I styled some of Olivia Rubin’s collection last week for her cut outs and I just love her prints. I’m thinking this jumper should be my next purchase! Love!

I purchased this Bobby Brown blusher recently and I have to say it’s my favourite so far. You have to try it, it’s amazing and a great colour for this summer.

Peace and love…The Retoucher

I’ll never forget my mom saying ”Wash your face and hands and brush your teeth before Bed”

Now that i’m using anti ageing products i really wish i had listened!

For skin care believe me i have been through the lot! From medical based to natural, expensive, less expensive, great adverts, poor adverts – i have bought it all. Of all the lines I’ve tried there are actually 2 that are my favorite. They are both very different but alas, i like to cleanse with my mood and these 2 lines cover ALL my moods and bases.

Arbonne – All Natural RE9 Anti Angeing

The Arbonne RE9 has vitamin C, supports collagen synthesis (whatever that is) and it has algae extracts. A friend of mine guaranteed me I would see results if I used this line for 7 days and I actually did! So Arbonne for me when i’m feeling nice and healthy and looking for a more natural regime.

Option 2 – Down right medical and wonderful results right away.

Harley Street Skin
Harley Street Skin have a great line of all products, the StemCellulation Serum is my most favorite product in the world!

It is like heaven in a bottle and i have NOT been paid to say that. It’s a great base to make up and really make your skin feel moisturized, not greasy! Also, the Microdermabrasion has to be the best exfoliate out there. It truly is exactly what you want out of exfoliator, not messy, not creamy just a nice texture to rid yourself of all those unwanted cells. Definitely Harley Street when i need to get the job done!

Make Up

To be fair – not that choosy about my make up. Shadow, concealer and foundation, any mineral based will do for me – Lipstick now that is another story! I am committed to a few brands, Chanel, Estee Lauder but FINALLY have come across a wonderful AFFORDABLE Revlon which really is truly amazing. The shades are absolutely perfect and it’s only about £7 i think. Revlon ColorBurst is my new bottom of the handbag must have – True Red and Raspberry have already been checked off my list

I guess those are my 2 basics – skin care and lipstick! on the fashion side something i’m going to love having for summer are a few full length jersey numbers in some nice bright colour, i think they’re abour £12 at H&M if you’re like me and like sitting on the grass without worrying about my dress!

and of course my birthday present to myself …. my new shoes!

What a fab week, amongst lots of other exciting happening’s at the i heart studios headquarters, Pam and I took at trip to the Sanderson Hotel to check out the latest from Lipsy!! Location got a massive thumbs up from us, loving the big lips sofa and the 3D space lifts. The Long Bar is also going to have to be re-visited very soon, amazing!!

Sooooooooo hot news from the press!! Lispy is launching an online L.A Boutique.

Launching this spring 2011, the online L.A boutique will be stocking their own fashion and accessories label as well as the hottest brands from accross the pond. Lispy have handpicked all the Rodeo Drive brands to die for – from must have embellished tees through to stand out on-trend party dresses. We can’t wait till the site goes live ….

Launching in April is their VIP collection back for 2011. Famous fans of the VIP collection include The Saturdays and Paris Hilton … we loved these pieces!!

Straight from the runway trends of New York, London, Milan and Paris Lipsy introduce a new collection (High Summer to early autumn 2011) of feminine daywear and high impact eveningwear and it really is a lovely collection. Indroducing soft caramels, deep chocolates and cinnamon colours their signature glamour look really shines through with this array of must have pieces.

In addition to their red carpet pieces Lipsy have been very busy getting a dazzling new watch collection together, a debut perfume fragrance and if that wasn’t enough a new cosmetic and body product gift range ready for Christmas 2011.
